Whew, just went to 7 races in 10 days, started off with the USMTS race at Cresco Speedway with the NASCAR VS USMTS show and finished off with the Night of a 1000 Stars at the Hancock County Speedway in Britt IA

With a very sad heart I have to tell everyone that we buried my Dad, he passed away on June 25th, he introduced me to the sport of dirt track racing, I remember the many racing trips that I had made with him over the years, in his middle 40's his interest turned towards restoring classic cars, he had made many trips in his 48 Chevy (this was his daily driver) to car shows across the US and Canada, he also had a 52 Merc, this was his pride and joy as he won many awards with this car, Dad you will be missed very much!

So far for the year I have attended 25 shows, I have seen 9 different racing sanctions in action in 2008
